Follower of Christ.
My name is Tori, I’m 28 years young and I’m a mix breed of both American and European. I was born in Washington DC and lived there until I was 11 and then as a family we felt a calling to move to England where my mom was originally from.
I spent the first 9 years hating it over here, always mentally stuck back in the USA, constantly reliving precious memories, kidding myself that that was still reality. My Dad used to always tell me that the grass is never greener on the other side, and that the America I left when I was 11 was no longer the America of today. And of course, he was right. I have now grown in love with this little island of a mighty country and can see the mission field right in my own backyard.
I’m a Christian, firmly believing that it’s not about being religious, but instead having a real relationship with Jesus Christ. I choose love with no obligation over religion with an agenda any day. I’d like to think I don’t ram my Bible down anyone’s throat… so instead I always love sitting down and talking about anything to anyone regardless of a person’s belief or stance. I try and live my life as an open book, willing to share any page whether it’s written of joy or pain.
This is another reason why this particular blog has been so important to me. It’s been my brainchild for longer than it should have, I’ll own up that I’ve been distracted… I have been writing for many years now but only to the audience of myself. Until God clearly put this vision in my heart of birthing a new project where I would open myself up in a new way and not only write about my life, but explore difficult topics that will challenge mindsets, encourage spirits and stir hearts.
If only one person comes across this website and gets to see Jesus woven into the words of my posts, then it would of all been worth it.
